4th General Meeting

Sevanne Calle

from Faraday Future

CPP IEEE welcomed from Faraday Future Sevanne Calle during the 4th General Meeting on October 16th.  Sevanne is a Cal Poly Pomona Engineering Alumni who graduated in 2016 to receive her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  Sevanne talked about her rise from student engineer to engineering intern for Faraday Future in Computer Aided Engineering, and finally landing a full time position after college.  Following with work at Faraday Future with her 3+ years of experience working as a full time Engineer.

Sevanne is always in search for her next adventure.  A passionate mechanical engineer who loves to solve industry problems, loves to teach, lead and help her community. She helps drive engineering design by analyzing problems through finite element analysis.

At Faraday Future, Sevanne has worked in and on ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, Hyperworks, Optistruct, Metapost, Solidworks, CATIA, Microsoft Project.  These skillsets have allowed her to apply them to, analyzing numerous stress, strength, vibration engineering problems.  Additionally, she has managed several in house and offshore engineering projects.  Her latest projects at Faraday Future are Model Building, NVH Testing, Durability + Strength Analysis , NVH Analysis.

Sevanne spoke to CPP IEEE members on tips and provide advice on what to expect and move towards as a student engineer in college.  She also presented on a demonstration of teaching FEA engineers in computer modelling, ANSA, and analysis techniques.
